Press Release No : 577 Date: 25.08.2026 PRESS RELEASE Allocation of Additional Registration Tokens Across All Sub-Registrar Offices in View of Public Demand for Avani Avittam and Pournami To facilitate increased property registrations on auspicious days, the Registration Department has ordered the allocation of additional booking tokens on 27.08.2026 (Avani Avittam and Pournami). For Sub-Registrar offices with one Sub-Registrar, token capacity is increased from 100 to 150; for offices with two Sub-Registrars, capacity is increased from 200 to 300; and for 100 high-volume registration offices, standard tokens are increased to 150 along with 4 additional Tatkal tokens in addition to the existing 12 Tatkal tokens.
