Student Admissions in Government Colleges of Education Information by Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education Thiru P. Viswanathan Online application registration for M.Ed. admissions for the academic year 2026-2027 in Government Colleges of Education commenced on 11/08/2026 via www.tngasa.in. In the interest of aspiring students who could not apply before the earlier deadline, application registration on www.tngasa.in will reopen on 31/08/2026. For students who applied up to 20/08/2026, rank-based admissions will be conducted from 27/08/2026, and classes will commence on 01/09/2026. Admission allotment details are being communicated via SMS and E-mail. To facilitate leftover applicants, the deadline for second-round admission registration has been extended up to 10/09/2026.
