Vijay Balaji Inspected the Modernized Air-Conditioned Chennai Khadi Showroom The Khadi Kraft showroom, previously functioning on the ground floor of Kuralagam and relocated to the first floor of the adjacent Chennai Illam for the past year, has now been modernized with central air-conditioning to provide an enhanced shopping experience. The showroom displays all varieties of khadi, polyester, and silk textiles at 30% to 50% discount rates, alongside authentic village industry products including handmade soaps, Marthandam honey, leather footwear, pooja articles, and Sugapriya pain relief balm. Hon'ble Minister for Handlooms, Textiles and Khadi Thiru M. Vijay Balaji visited the showroom on 27.08.2026 and issued instructions to officials to take proactive marketing measures to boost sales multi-fold. Principal Secretary Thiru T.N.
